Nail Art Ideas for Those Last-Minute Holidays

As we’ve now reached the month of August, many of us have been on our summer holiday and are getting back into the swing of everyday life. But for some, there’s still that last-minute holiday booked, and whether it’s Greece, Italy, or even Wales, we all need some gorgeous nails to have when we go away.

Here are some nail art ideas perfect and easy to do for those last-minute holidays:

Summer Blooming

Flower nail art is a firm favourite and perfect for any Spring/Summer themed nail sets. With its ‘simple but effective’ effect, this nail art is easy to do, and creates the prettiest designs! You can also play with placement, and do a flowery French design, randomise and put them anywhere on the nail, add one to the cuticles, or go for a simple single flower in the middle of each nail. There are a variety of designs you could achieve with flowers, and here is some inspo to prove just that.

Sunny Swirls

One of our favourite nail art designs is, of course, swirls! You can make it as simplistic or extravagant as you’d like, which makes it such an easy and adaptable design to opt for, as well as suiting all seasons. The holiday vibe for these is always vibrant/neon/pastel colours and a variety of swirls to make them vacation-ready. You can layer, add onto another design and more!

Simplicity at its Finest

We all know and love a classic French on any set of nails, whether it be a classy white, 3d blue, patterned: the list goes on. So, why not switch up the look and go for an outline French? These look so pretty and minimalistic but present the perfect look for whenever you’re going away. Make it multi-coloured, pastel, monochrome, glittery – there’s always something you can add to this look.

Glitter, Glitter, Glitter

There's always a way to get glitter onto a set of nails, so why not make it the main attraction on a holiday set this year and give it the spotlight it deserves? It’s versatile, and always looks stunning! From loose glitters, glitter gel polishes, sparkly acrylic powders, and irridscent Builder-bel Gels, each one has its own personality and a whole lot to bring to any nail set. You can do anything with glitter, and you can even watch one of our live videos with @staceymachin where we looked at adding loose glitter into Builder-bel Gels!
