Hi, I’m Lauren!

I’m a passionate nail technician and educator at Glitterbels HQ, with a love for all things nails! For me, nails are so much more than just a job they bring me a sense of peace and allow me to be creative while doing something I genuinely love.

Before starting my journey in the nail industry, I worked in the civil service, but I knew I wanted something more relaxed, creative and flexible. Nails gave me exactly that, and I haven’t looked back since!

I absolutely love the science behind nails and understanding the why behind every step of the process. I’m always learning and developing my knowledge, and I love being able to share that with others.

As someone who is dyslexic myself, my teaching style is very practical and focused on making things easy to understand and remember. I love using practical demonstrations, acronyms, visual techniques and different ways of explaining things so that students can find what works best for them. I believe everyone learns differently, and my aim is to make training feel approachable, enjoyable and something you can feel confident in.

Teaching has become a huge passion of mine, and there’s nothing better than seeing a student have that “aha!” moment when something finally clicks. I love helping students build their confidence, develop their skills and understand not just how to do something, but why we do it.

I especially love fine line nail art and getting creative with different designs, colours and techniques. I also love meeting new people, chatting, sharing ideas and creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable learning.
