To apply acrylic powder, start by prepping the nail plate by pushing back the proximal nail fold and removing any non-living tissue on the nail plate.

Next, buff away the shine on the nail with a 180 file and apply dehydrator and primer to the entire nail bed.

Yes, absolutely. Though it may seem a strange question, we have all, at one point, decided with a colour that we regret. If the colour applied to your nail is an acrylic colour and it is impossible to change without removing and starting again, you can buff the entire nail and paint over with a nail varnish you have at home rather than visit a salon and incur huge extra costs.

TIP: if the colour you are wearing is perhaps too dark for your varnish choice and not covering, apply white nail varnish first to give yourself a blank canvas, leave it to dry, and then paint with the lighter colour if desired.
