On the 28th of November, the Glitterbels Hema Free Launch Party came to Manchester!
Showcasing over 80 new shades with more to come, our incredible customers got to swatch, watch and learn all about our brand-new range.
Glitterbels first launched their brand back in 2017 with a range of acrylic powders and since then, have expanded this into durable Gel Polishes, reliable Monomers, and sparkling Loose and Pre-mixed Glitters. As always the heart of Glitterbels is its loyal customers. With this being said Annabel and Elliott realised that unfortunately the existing range of gel polish could not be used by everybody, so they made a plan to change this.
For over 365 days our team of expert nail techs, as well as Annabel and her eye for flair, trialled and tested over 150 new shades. From light to ingredient testing every single Hema Free Gel has gone through an extensive process to ensure premium quality in every bottle. With one to two coats full coverage, every second spent was well worth it. Hema is hydroxyethyl methacrylate which are monomers used to polymerise the gel polish. Hema is considered the number 1 allergen in nail and cosmetic products so removing it from this gel polish range grants nail techs the ability to perform nail services on clients who have shown signs of an allergy.
After all of the hours and hard work put into our new range, we were ecstatic to be able to share this with our customers in Manchester at the Sheridan. We started the day by welcoming hundreds of guests into a room sprinkled with balloons, candy floss, and pink unicorns, where they were greeted with a sea of experienced nail techs ready to educate them on every aspect of the new range including holographic, shiny and regular colours as well as sparkling topcoats, base coats and primers.
As well as our technicians, we also had informative product talks on techniques and plenty of opportunities to ask Annabel and our head of education Charli about every aspect of being in the nail industry – our favourite quote of the day has to be “Anything worth doing is worth overdoing” – Annabel Maginnis. This was followed by many giveaways that ranged from special edition golden desks, and £200 vouchers to our very own salon chairs ensuring we give as many of our amazing customers the best starting chance possible to thrive in their business venture.
We were also lucky enough to be joined by social media stars Sophie Kasaei and Chloe Patton who mingled with our guests and got a taste of the full coverage of our products. Sophie opted for a long coffin shape covered in a detailed Zebra and Cheetah print with a flare from Annabel, whilst Chloe kept very on theme with her outfit with a short almond shape and green snake print design as well as a 3D design from the extremely talented @zara.nails.chilla.
With a range so big it is hard to pick a favourite but if you’re looking for stand-out colours we can certainly recommend Custard Mustard, Diamond Dash, and Hot Red Sparkle.
