With any competition, there must be rules, to keep things fair and fun. Please read the Nail Boss: ‘Colour Me Creepy’ Nail Art Competition, below:

This competition is not divided by category, and is a mixed media competition. This means competitors can use any and all, Glitterbels products together or separately, to create their Halloween Set. For this mixed media nail design competition, competitors can use:

• Core, Colour and Glitter Acrylic Powders
• Builder Gel and Hema Free Builder-Bel Gel
• Hema Free Gel Polish
• Glitterbels Nail Varnish range
• Unbelievabel Gel
• Blooming Gel
• Loose Glitter
• Chrome Powders
• Charms, Crystals and Press On Nail Tips can be used, as an exception to the ‘Glitterbels Products Only’ rule.

All nail art must be created using Glitterbels products. With the exception of charms, crystals and any press on tips the design is created on, as these are products Glitterbels don’t currently provide.

Nail art can be created on nails or tips of any length and can be any shape. You can use full coverage tips, half tips,  a hand model, a fake hand or can create your look on your own nails.

When competitors complete their design and submit their work, any photos or videos of the work should be sent, without filters or the use of any editing software.

Competitors will need to provide a list of the products used to create their work.

Submissions must be a new design that has been created specifically for this competition.

Your nail design should span all 10 fingers, images of the work should include detailed shots of this. If you are working on tips, you can lay them flat on a white background so we can ensure we don’t miss any details.

All entries must be submitted to this link, on or before the 20th of October 2024, at 12am.

To maintain the integrity of the competition, we kindly ask that you refrain from using any filters in your pictures or videos. We want to see your artistry in its truest form, without any alterations.

When capturing your entry, make sure to provide 5 photographs from different angles. Include top views, side profiles, and front profiles of the nails to showcase the crisp details you have created. Simply submit your 30 second video and 5 high-resolution photos, via the submission link here.

Let’s get onto the good bits… the prizes. 3rd, 2nd and 1st place winners will be chosen for the Nail Boss: ‘Colour Me Creepy’ Nail Art Competition. This will be announced via our social media and emails.

It wouldn’t be a Glitterbels competition without some amazing prizes… 

• 1st Place – £150 Worth of Glitterbels product and a place on Glitterbels Hall Of Fame website page. 
• 2nd Place - £100 Worth of Glitterbels product and place on Glitterbels Hall of Fame website page. 
• 3rd Place - £50 Worth of Glitterbels product and place on Glitterbels Hall of Fame website page. 

The Glitterbels Nail Boss Competitions are a showcase of the talent and innovation in the Glitterbels community. The Nail Boss competition and awards were started in 2023, at the Glitterbels Hema Free Builder-bel Gel Launch Party and we have decided to make it an annual event. The Judges this year consist of:

• Annabel Maginnis, Founder and Creative Director of Glitterbels.
• Charli Jepson, Head Of Education for Glitterbels.
• Danielle Brindley, Glitterbels Educator and Winner of Scratch Stars Mixed Polish & Paint Artist of the Year.

This year we are celebrating all things creepy, cute and creative with the Nail Boss: ‘Colour Me Creepy’ Nail Art Competition. Your submission will be judged on the following:

• Creativity & Originality
• Use Of Colour
• Technical Skill & Execution
• Unique Use Of Glitterbels Products
• Theme Relevance
• Presentation & Visual Impact

You will score points on each of these categories, being totalled up to a number out of 100, for your final score.
